McArthur “Mack” Whitten, age 71, Shannon Mississippi passed away Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Marion County Alabama on Wednesday, June 17, 1942 to Buddy Lee and Effie Lee Reynolds Whitten. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013, 4-8:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be Friday October 11, 2013 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel with Bro. James Garrison officiating. Burial wil be in the Pebble Cemetery, Haleyville Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Effie Whitten; and 2 brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Brenda Kimbrough and husband, Herman, Johnny Whitten and wife, Shelley, Linda Page and husband, Darrin and Arthur Whitten; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 9 sisters; host of nieces, nephews and friends.
