Maxzene Kimbrough Hester – Obituary

Maxzene Kimbrough Hester, 80, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.

Mrs. Hester was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Waco Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and choir member. She was retired from Hester Printing and was a member of the Waco Homemaker’s Club.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Billy George. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on today from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Survivors include husband, R.C. Hester; children, Sherrie Diana Holland and husband, Jay, and Robert Mack Hester and wife, Carol, all of Russellville; sister-in-law, Mary Kimbrough; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Benjamin “Mack” and Lassie Inez Floyd Kimbrough; and brother, Jerry Don Kimbrough.

Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
