Funeral Service for Maxine Whisenhunt, 83, of Cullman will be Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church, Rev. Joh Richter officiating. Grandson, Ryan Whisenhunt, will give the eulogy. Interment will follow at Cullman Memory Gardens. Mrs. Whisenhunt will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Mrs. Whisenhunt passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 4, 1937 to Max and Irene Huck. She was a retired secretary and floral designer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Whisenhunt; and sister, Carolyn Huck. Survivors include a son, Mark (Wendy) Whisenhunt; a daughter, Rosemary (David) Herge; a sister, Evelyn (Bobby) Edison; seven grandchildren: Lindsey (Wesley) Slaton, Mallory Whisenhunt, Zachary (Kyria) Whisenhunt, Ryan Whisenhunt, Emily (Isaac) Eady, Lukas (Jessica) Hagood, and Lydia (Justin) Nichols; fourteen Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews and other family. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Johns’s Evangelical Protestant Church.
