Max Welton Pesnell, 73 of Arab passed away Friday, August 14, 2020, at Marshall Medical Center North. Max was born May 15, 1947 in Marshall County the son of Reed Pesnell and Cleo Wilson Pesnell. He was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Pesnell Tire in Arab.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Martha Riddle Pesnell of Arab; Daughter: Darlene Cornelius (Micky) of Arab; Son: Barry Pesnell of Arab; Grandchildren: Chris Cornelius, Kristin Waldrop (Dan), Nicole Holmes (Adam), Nic Pesnell (Louann) and Cody Cornelius; Great Grandchildren: Cameron, Benjamin, Harmony, Cooper, Alexis, Kayd, Kenadie, Wyatt, Lincoln, Maverick and Judson.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Westside Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jeff Edwards and Brother Jerry Burgett officiating. Burial will follow in Gilliam Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Hanvey, Marshall Cater, Ethan Owens, John Pesnell, Mark James and Bobby Morrow.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Westside Missionary Baptist Church.
