Mavis Geraldine Reyer Watson passed away on December 6, 2023, at her home. She was born on March 15, 1932, in Ardmore, Alabama to Earnest and Lucille Reyer.
She is survived by her son Mark (Camille) Watson; grandchildren, Robert Miles Cowher, William Wallace Cowherwatson, and Hannah Nicole Watson; and great grandchild, Carolyn Cowher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John B. Watson; son, Steven Ray Watson; daughter, Kathy June Watson; multiple brothers as well as one sister.
Mrs. Watson enjoyed spending her time quilting, crocheting, doing puzzles, and especially spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held for Mrs. Watson on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM. A chapel service will follow visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
