Funeral for Mavis Arlen Strunk, 91, of Decatur, will be Tuesday,
October 29, 2024 at 12:00pm at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with
Danny Cook officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation
will be from 11:00am-12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in
Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Strunk passed peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024,
surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 9, 1933, in
Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Myrtle Esther
Strunk; and his sisters.
He is survived by his son, Dink Strunk (Bonnie); grandchildren,
Justin Strunk (Lydia) and Shannon Pringle (Will); great-grandchildren,
Lawson Strunk, River Pringle, and Paisleigh Pringle; several nieces and
nephews.
