Mattie Ruth Matlock was born March 22, 1930 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Twille Bill and Essie Pearl Moore Huckabee.
She was united in marriage to Woodrow Matlock on August 17, 1951. Mr. Matlock preceded her in death on August 9, 1993.
Mrs. Matlock enjoyed taking care of her family, gardening and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Adamsville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Matlock departed this life on October 25, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 86 Years, 7 Months, 3 Days. She is survived by two sons, Roger Matlock and wife Dian of Ramer, TN, Ronnie Matlock of Ramer, TN; five grandchildren, Scottie Dale Matlock and wife Tammy, Kimberly Smith and husband Jeff, Cody Morris, Emily Matlock, Bari N. Matlock; 11 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Matlock was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Gail Matlock; a son, Terry Lee Matlock; a sister, Melba Jean Sweat; two brothers, William Robert Huckabee, Leo Huckabee.
