Mattie Luree Jackson Mann, age 86, of Spruce Pine passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her residence. The visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home prior to the 2pm funeral service in the chapel with Bro. Daryl Butts officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney O. and Willard Jackson; husband, Eustace L. Mann; sons, David and Kenny Mann. She is survived by her son, Gary Mann; sisters, Dorothy Mae Scott; Helen Elise Swinney and husband Charles; brothers, Sydney Jackson and wife Jane, William O. Jackson and wife Rhoda, Charles L. Jackson and wife Mary, Elmer Jackson and wife Kay, Howard Jackson and wife Jo: A host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
