Mattie Louvonia Jarrett Neely was born January 16, 1917 in Limestone County to Archie and Annie Webb Jarrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Neely; her parents, Archie and Annie Jarrett; sisters, Prudie Saylors, Aline Black; brother, Vurlon Jarrett; daughter, Joyce Neely Riviere.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Michael Charles Riviere and wife Tammy, Monigue Riviere Walker and husband, Edward Walker II and Michelle Riviere, as well as great-grandchildren, Marissa Cutten Walechek, Tara Cutten, Cydia Walker and Edward Walker, III.
Mattie departed this life on July 21, 2015, at Limestone Health Facility. She was a faithful member of Northside Church of Christ.
Services will be Friday, July 24, 2015 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
