Mattie Lou Davis Jarratt Thomason, 88, retired school cafeteria worker and homemaker, died Sunday, April 10, 2022at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elijah Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and after 12 Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Born July 19, 1933 in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Emry Bransford Davis and the late Gertie Burns Davis. Mrs. Thomason was a member of Beech Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda (John) Russell, Linda (Jason) Boshers; sons, Thomas (Carolyn) Jarratt, Ellis (Kim) Jarratt; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Robert Jarratt and Gene Thomason; and siblings, Christine Garrett, Horace Davis, Glenn Davis, Buford Davis, Ernest Davis, and Fred Davis.
Active pallbearers will be Robbie Jarratt, Michael Jarratt, Josh Williams, John Marshall Curtis, Jim Davis, and Tim DeBruhl. Special Thanks to the staff of Life Care of Columbia and the staff of Hospice Compassus.
