Mattie Bell Campbell Henley, 92, of Town Creek, Ala., died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at Donald Baptist Church, Town Creek, with Scott Delashaw and Hugh Bohlin officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery, Jackson Memory Funeral Home directing.
She was the daughter of Marion and Elliefair Kidd Campbell. She was born June 2, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Henley.
She is survived by five sons, Willard Henley, Billy Henley (Glenda), Harold Henley (Pat), Lonnie Henley (Amy), Danny Henley (Alesa); two daughters, Martha Everly (Steve), Carol Mardis (Timmy); 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother, Tom Campbell; sistersr, Sue Clemons and Faye Odell.
Grandsons will be pallbearers. Granddaughters will be honorary pallbearers.
A sweet and virtuous Christian woman who left a beautiful legacy of love by passing on her love, compassion, wisdom, sense of humor and love of our Lord to her family.
