Mr. Matthew Thomas Burton  It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Matthew Thomas Burton on October 20, 2024, at the age of 45. Matthew was born on March 13, 1979, in New Port Richey, FL, to William and Carmella Burton.
During his childhood Matthew was very active in sports such as baseball, football, bowling, basketball, weightlifting and track. He loved riding his bike or his go cart with friends and spending time in the garage working on cars with his dad. Being the only son, Matthew stole his mama’s heart and always made sure to take care of her and both of his sisters.
After graduating from Ridgewood High School in 1998, Matthew followed in his father’s footsteps and began his career in the truck building industry. Matthew also helped to establish the family sign company while working hard to build a life to be proud of.
Matthew’s biggest joy of his life was his son Matthew, he was so very proud to be his dad. He loved coaching baseball, watching his games and having their “pizza chronicles”.
Throughout Matthew’s life he had many health obstacles, but most would never know it because he always had a smile and loved to joke around to make the best of every day.
