Matthew Jewel Harrington Profile Photo  Matthew Jewel Harrington, 34, resident of Lynnville, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 18, 2024 two days short of his 35th birthday.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Monday, July 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Darren Dugger, from the Tree of Life Church, officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born July 20, 1989 in Columbia, Tennessee, he was the son of Richard Harrington and Karen (Gary) Johnson. Matthew loved his father, mother, and Gary, who were his best friends, and the family that were in his life while he was here. He will always be remembered for being super funny. Matthew loved spending time with his mom, because his heart was where his home was. He enjoyed talking about politics and outer space. Matthew loved everyone, no matter what, because his heart came full of it, and he will be unremarkably missed. His surprising gifts for his family who was around because he felt like it, because he liked it too.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Cristle Reynolds, and Sheena (Colby) Baer; nieces, Briona Isbell, and Cheyenne Isbell; nephew, Traven Anderson; and special friends, Brent Norman, Daniel Walls, and Nikki Hight.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Clareen Riggins, Paul Harrington, and Thelma and Thomas Everly.
