Matthew Evan Farmer Matthew Evan Farmer, 34, a native of Huntsville Alabama, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday night. Matthew had only just 4 weeks ago returned to Huntsville and his family after being away for 3 years. It was a joyous celebration, followed by very full and eventful days after the weekend long celebration with all of his family and friends. This happening so suddenly has devastated us all.

Matthew lived life large and loud, fast and furious, with love and kindness to everyone. As a little boy he wanted everyone to like him and be his friend. He wanted to help everyone and be loved by everyone. He wanted to have everything and he lived BIG! As he grew older his zest for life and all the good things he wanted, his super outgoing, live life to the max, caused him a few problems. But no matter how flamboyant he was and always reaching for the stars for himself, he also wanted everyone around him to have everything too. He was always happy, ready to go, he lived fast, loved you fiercely, and was generous, caring, compassionate, and the most loving son, brother, friend or family member anyone could have.

Matthew loved Alabama football, NASCAR, music, expensive cars, designer clothes and shoes, good food and LOTS of it, family and friend get together‘s and cookouts, and he wanted his own family to love with kids to raise. If he was a part of your life you knew he was there for you, always, in everything. If Matthew Evan Farmer loved you he really loved you and you knew it. He was the most loving little boy and grew up to be a loving, fun, always on the go, happy, loud, wanting everything, young man.

Matthew is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William D. and Thelma Jones, and cousin Kevin “Kebo” Hughes. He is survived by his Mother, Sherry Jones Farmer of Huntsville, Father Donald Farmer of Washington state, brother Michael Farmer of Huntsville, sister Amanda Farmer Akhondmirza of Decatur, and another sister, Heather Ward of Louisiana. Two aunts, Linda “Grammie” Edwards of Huntsville, Tina Jones of Tuscaloosa, 1 uncle, Steve Edwards, who was special to him, a very special nephew Lucas Stark Akhondmirza, 2 daughters Laney and Brileigh, and many cousins, nephews, and friends. Two very special friends Ben Matkin and John Welch who loved him unconditionally.

We are all devastated. Life will not be the same. There will always be a hole in our lives without Matthew, but he will live on in our broken hearts forever. Never forgotten, always forgiven, completely and totally loved.??

Visitation will be Friday 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Mike Hulsey officiating.

Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery.
