Matthew Christopher Britt, 44, of Pontotoc, MS, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. An avid ATV enthusiast, he cherished time spent with his family, whether working on ATVs or riding them. He created lasting memories around the campfire and on the trails, always seizing every opportunity. As the beloved “fun uncle,” he held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed by all.
Matthew is survived by his father, James Britt of Byhalia; his sisters, Judy Lloyd of Byhalia and Diana Holmes (Vance) of New Albany; his brothers, Dennis Britt (Angel) of Byhalia and Joe Britt (Casondra) of Byhalia; five nieces; twelve nephews; and a host of great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Britt.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Bobby Clark officiating. Visitation will commence at 12 PM and continue until the time of the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be J.D. Britt, Jacob Britt, Herbie Britt, Marcel Britt, Cody Britt, and Cody Carter.
