A Celebration of Life Service for Matthew Charles Lipford, 16 of Corinth, MS, will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Chuck Hassell will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Lipford passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence. He was born November 1, 2006 in Corinth, MS to Ben Lipford and Melissa McCalister Easley. He was a student in the 10th grade at Alcorn Central High School and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed playing the drums and was Co Captain of the Drum Line in the Alcorn Central High School Band and was also a member of the Archery Team and Skeet Team. He loved his family and friends, helping others and being with his friends. Matthew is survived his father, Ben Lipford; his mother, Melissa Easley (Mark); his twin brother, Dustin Alexander Lipford; his sister, Bailey Lowell (Michael) his paternal grandparents, Bob and Glenda Lipford; his maternal grandmother, Chesteen McCalister; step grandmother, Alice Easley; Alcorn Central Golden Bear Band Members; 2025 Class of Alcorn Central; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Grady McCalister and his step grandfather, Tommy Easley. Pallbearers will be Chris Lipford, Ian Marion, Bradley McCalister, Jacob McCalister, Clayton Kennedy and Luke Baswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Alcorn Central High School Class of 2025 and the Alcorn Central Golden Bear Band. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Matthew Lipford.
