Mathel Murray, 81 of Arab passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at her residence. Mathel was born November 7, 1940, in Paragould, Arkansas the daughter of John Edward Clark and Lora Dora Thomas Clark. She worked at several manufacturing businesses until her retirement, such as Wrangler, SCI and Syncro.
She is survived by her children: Renee Carter, Terry (Laura) Sharp, Cindy Sharp, Portia Scott and Jason (Dana) Sharp; Grandchildren: Haley Carter, Hannah Carter, Hope Carter, Victoria Sharp, Sophia Sharp, Taylor Ogletree and Savannah Vandiver; Great Grandchild: Evelyn Vandiver; Sister: Mildred Blancett; Brother: Dale (Nikki) Clark. She was preceded in death by Husband: Otis Murray; Parents: John and Lora Clark; Brothers: Harold Clark, Therral Clark and Floyd Clark; Sons-in-law: David Carter and Mitch Scott.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Larry Narrell officiating. Burial will be in the Union Hill F.C.M. Church cemetery with Brother Terry Sharp officiating the graveside committal. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
