Mason Kale Florence age 29 of Scottsboro, Alabama, left this world and all its struggles on February 23, 2023. Those that know Mason best know that he loved to fish, always wanted to make you laugh even if the laugh was inappropriate and was a big kid at heart. He was known for his intelligence, humor, huge heart and radiant smile.
Mason is survived by his sons Dallas and Landon; dad, Raymond Florence, and mom, Deb Shook; sisters, Summer Lee, Krissy (Wade) Jones, and Kelly (Randall) Helton; nephews and nieces, Jackson and Lainey Helton, Ryder Chesson, Kylie Allison, and Makenna Jones; and sister and brother in heart Jena and Jon Belew; and, nieces and nephews in heart Tyler, Trey, and the “boggan gang”; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Mason was proceeded in death by his birth mom, Lucretia Wisdom; brother, Chris David Florence; and, grandparents Robert and Faye Florence, and Judy and Bob Shook.
Visitation will be March 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a ceremony to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to His Way Recovery Center, 582 Shields Road, Huntsville, Alabama 35801.
