Funeral for Mary “Verona” Wilbanks, 67, of Trinity will be today, August 20, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Daniel Gray, Marcus Lipscomb and Kenny Rogers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Mrs. Wilbanks died Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born December 14, 1945, in Decatur to the late OC and Novie Childers. She worked for TJ Maxx.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Wilbanks; two daughters, Jerri N. Ray (Scottie Ray) and Lavon Parker, both of Trinity; one sister, Ramona Dennis of Florence; and one grandchild, Heather N. Parker of Trinity.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Wilbanks, Lantz Wilbanks, Bill Mayfield, Kenneth Rogers, Mitchell Jackson and James Malone.
