Mary Townsend Griggs, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired assistant manager for Harveys, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Maynard Townsend; and her husband, Floyd Griggs.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016, with Tony Ayers officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
