Mary Sue Panovec, age 88, of Joelton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at NHC Place at the Trace.
There will be a private family service in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
Mrs. Panovec was born on October 7, 1935, in Pleasant View, Tennessee, to the late Charlemagne & Ora Morris Winters. She was retired from the human resource department at NHC Springfield. She was a great cook who dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed helping and giving to others and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Panovec; brothers, Charles Winters, Jimmy Winters, and Jackie Winters; and son-in-law, David Heintzman.
She is survived by her sons, Perry Panovec and Parker (Debra) Panovec; daughter, Pamela Heintzman; brother, Ray (Judy) Winters; sisters, Sandra Kilgore and Barbara Dale; grandchildren, Kent (Colleen) Panovec, Lesa (Chad) Brown, Bryan (Monica) Panovic, Grant (Paige) Heintzman, Bryce Heintzman, Reagan (Austin) Brown, and Carson Panovec; and 6 great-grandchildren.
