Mary Sue Dempsey – Obituary

Mary Sue Dempsey, 76 years old of Town Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Colbert County.
Mrs. Dempsey was a Baptist and retired from Pilgrims as a deboner.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Dewey Jack (Dick) Dempsey, her parents: Garvin and Gladys Opal Myrick Adcock, her brother, John Adcock and her sister: Margie Kay Adcock.
Mrs. Dempsey is survived by two daughters: Wanda Hill and her husband Tommy, of Town Creek and Pam Patterson and her husband, Benny of Moulton, one brother: Jackie Adcock of Mt. Hope, two sisters: Dorothy Robbins and her husband J.C., of Mt. Hope and Fay Norwood of Rogersville, two grandchildren: Derek Hill and his wife Amber of Mt. Hope and Jessica Hill of Town Creek, two step grandchildren: Tiffany Proctor of Tennessee and Lexi Patterson of Moulton, two great grandsons: Easton Hill and Russ Proctor, two special nieces: Rhonda Lawrimore and Monica Howard and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Derek Hill, Darrell Brewer, Jason Brewer, Tim Curry, Trent Curry and Victor Brewer. Honorary pallbearers are Easton Hill and Jessica Hill.
