Mary Sue Chamblee, 86, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born March 5, 1938 to the late Denton Summerford and the late Eula Mae Jordan Summerford. She attended Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. Mary Sue enjoyed going out to eat, riding around, watching Ole Miss sports, listening to classic country music and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 pm on Friday October 18, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Friday October 18, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mary Sue is survived by her sons, Mickey (Lisa) Russell of Fulton, and Chuck (Michelle) Chamblee of Cumming, GA; daughters, Kim (Ricky) Steele of Fulton and Charlotte (Randy) Rodgers of Fulton, grandchildren, Matt (Jenna) Russell, Nathan (Jenna) Rodgers, Jordan (Janee’) Steele, Jake (Rachel) Steele, Bronson (Zach) Spradling, Brooke (Mikey) Gough, Laura (Wesley) Hemer, Leah (Jim) Strom and Samantha Chamblee; great grandchildren, Micah Gough, Drew (Paige) Gough. Stella Gough, Oakley Spradling, Valley Spradling, Reese Steele, Barrett Steele, Grace Steele, Jett Steele, Julie Steele, Colton Russell, Naomi Rodgers, Miriam Rodgers, Selah Rodgers, Elijah Rodgers, Lottie Rodgers and Jude Hemer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Porter Chamblee, Sr., infant son, Ronnie Glen Russell and her parents, Denton and Eula Mae Summerford.
Pallbearers will be Matt Russell, Nathan Rodgers, Jordan Steele, Jake Steele, Mikey Gough, and Zach Spradling.
