Mary Sue Bevis, age 87, of Florence, passed away Sept. 3, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 6, from 1-2 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence, with Marty Evans officiating.
Mrs. Bevis was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Bevis; and grandson, Kevin Bevis.
She is survived by her children, Robert Aaron Bevis (Susan) and Steve Allen Bevis (Joy); sister, Hazel Holt; brother, A.B. Willis (Phyllis); grandchildren, Ginger Witt (Jason) and Kristy Lyle (Todd); step-grandchildren, Stacy Palmer (Dale), Selina Gooch (John), Leon Perry and Eric Perry; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express appreciation to her special caregivers, Nancy Jones and Mary Robertson, and to Dr. Lyman Mitchell for their loving care.
