Mrs. Mary Ruth Wright Terry, age 88 of Big Cove, passed away Tuesday, December 6th, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Mrs. Terry dedicated her life to Christ over 77 years ago, and was a member of Big Cove Holiness Church since 1960.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Wiley E. Terry, Jr., parents, Floyd and Lillie Wright, sisters, Doretha Wright and Shirley Wright, brother, Vernon Wright, sisters-in-law, Nellie Mae Terry and Ivalene Wright, and brother-in-law, Leonard Summerford.
Mrs. Terry is survived by two sons, Greg (Debbie) Terry and Bruce (Pam) Terry; two granddaughters, Alex (Trevor) Willmon, and Courtney Terry; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Skyler, Liam, and Bryant Willmon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7th, from 6:00 until 8:30pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 8th, at 11:00am, in Spry’s Chapel, with Brother Mark Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Big Cove, AL with Brother Josh Trotman officiating.
