Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ruth Hensley, age 73, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 6 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2023, and from 12 noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hensley passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born November 23, 1949, in Milan, TN to Auburn and Margie Vermillion.
Mrs. Hensley was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Milan, TN.
Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Wayne Hensley Jr.; her parents, Auburn and Margie (Gammons) Vermilion; and two great grandsons, Jaxxon White and Clay Haskell.
Mrs. Hensley is survived by two daughters, Mary Denise White and Charlotte Kathleen Glover; a sister, JoAnn Petty (Jerry); daughter-in-law, Ann Hensley; and the proud grandmother of eight, great grandmother of thirty, and great-great grandmother of two.
