Mary Rosie Coffman age 85 of Athens, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Coffman was born February 7, 1929 in Limestone County to John Barnes and Dessie Siniard Barnes.
Services will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Webster officiating. Visitation was Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Dessie Barnes; husband, Robert Junior Coffman.; son, Buster Coffman and a daughter, Betty Waddell.
Survived by three daughters, Carolyn Coffman, Jenny Coffman and Judy Pugh; four sons, Johnny Coffman, Larry Coffman and wife, Misty, Charlie Coffman and wife, Leann and Mark Coffman and wife, Melinda; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Coffman, Tracy Waddell, Junior Coffman, Tyler Coffman, Jeremy Patterson, Samuel Coffman, Heath Craig and Frankie Self.
