  Mary Rhea Profile PhotoWith heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Rhea, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on November 19, 2024, due to natural causes at her residence in Potts Camp, Mississippi. Born on December 18, 1932, in Pinedale, Mississippi, Mary led a life filled with love and devotion, leaving a profound impact on all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

Throughout her life, Mary found tremendous joy in the role of a housewife, dedicating herself to creating a warm and welcoming home for her beloved family. Her unwavering love and selflessness knew no bounds, as she not only nurtured her daughters Sheila Shelton (Pete) of Byhalia, MS, Debbie Fair (Henry) of Etta, MS, Sylvia Rhea of Myrtle, Freda Bowling of Myrtle, and Lisa Windham (Lee) of Myrtle, but also served as a pillar of strength for her husband, Terrell Rhea. Mary’s heart overflowed with love for her grandkids and great grandkids, finding immeasurable happiness in their laughter and presence.

In the wake of her passing, Mary is survived by her siblings, Norris Robbins, Delaine Robbins, and Ann Dawson. Each life she touched was forever enriched by her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering grace.

Mary was preceded in death by parents Amos Robbins, Dovie Robbins, brothers Darius Robbins and Laderral Robbins

The celebration of Mary’s remarkable life will take place during a celebration of life service on November 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with a Visitation preceding at 1:00 pm, to be held at Salem Baptist Church in Potts Camp, MS, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and pay their respects.

As we reflect upon the legacy of Mary Rhea, may we find solace in the countless memories we shared with her, cherishing the love, laughter, and wisdom she bestowed upon us. Though she may have bid farewell to this earthly realm, her spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts, a beacon of love and light guiding us through the days ahead. Rest in peace, dear Mary. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your memory will be eternally cherished.

The family of Mrs. Mary would like to thank Enhabit Hopsice for the care they provided to Mrs. Mary.
