Mary Plunkett, age 75, of Hackleburg, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Arabella Health & Wellness of Russellville. She was born in Russellville, Alabama on Thursday, November 18,1948 to James C. Welch and Ura Faye Nichols Welch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1 pm at in the chapel with Pastor Frank Chaney and Bro. Reed Plunkett officiating. The burial will be at Middle Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Ura Faye Welch.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Larry Plunkett; children,
Greg Sherrill, Lynn Yielding (husband, Randall), Reed Plunkett; grandchildren, Tyler Sherrill, Zoya Yielding, Avery Yielding, Brieanna Jimenez, Canaan Plunkett; great-grandchildren, Christian Jimenez, Julianna Jimenez; four sisters; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
