Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Patricia Young, age 76, will be Monday February 26, 2024, at 1pm in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy McCall officiating, burial will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will also be Monday February 26, 2024, from 11am until service time.
Mrs. Young, a former mental health worker at the Patterson Center, passed away Tuesday February 20, 2024, at Trenton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Young; two sons, William and Robert Young; a sister, Peggy Watkins; and her father, William Shanklin.
Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Timothy Young; her mother, Zula Mae Shanklin; six grandchildren; and six great – grandchildren.
