Mary Nell Wright Colvin, 92, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mrs. Colvin was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Colvin, and her parents, Martin and Della Wright.
Mrs. Colvin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville. She graduated with a Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University, and retired from the Huntsville City School System as a teacher and a social worker after 35 years of service.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Copeland and husband, Chuck, of Huntsville; son, Ron E. Colvin and wife, Helen of Burlington, VT; grandchildren, Charles Copeland and Ann Bish and husband, Rod; great-grandchildren, Diana and Chase Copeland and Max and Meredith Bish.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Dr. David Hull officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
