Mary Viola McKinney, 95, of Corinth, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on December 14,1928 to the late George and Louise McKinney. Ms. McKinney was never married and she lived 95 long years in which she saw many changes during her lifetime. She retired from Colonial Bread Company in Paducah, Ky, where she worked for many years. Ms. McKinney was a caregiver to her family when they needed her after her retirement.

About 8 years ago she made her home at the MS Care Center. She had the sweetest smile and you could not help but love her. She loved doing arts & crafts and playing bingo. She was a very intelligent lady and supported her family. Ms.McKinney was soft spoken and a talker, and I say that with a smile on my face. She always had lots of interesting stories to tell of her 95 years.

Ms. McKinney was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise McKinney; brother, Robert McKinney (Wilma); nephew Brennen Thrasher; niece, Anita Thrasher.

She leaves behind nephew, Jerry McKinney; great great nieces who she adored, Jaidyn Thrasher and Rebecca McKinney; special friends, Angie Browder, Rob Skelton, Friends at the MS Care Center, Dr Leonard Pratt, Dr. Preston Wright, Carolyn James, and a host of other friends and family.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.memorialcorinth.com for the McKinney family.

Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
