Mary Magdalene Clardy Austin, 82, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the family residence. She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church.
Mrs. Austin was the daughter of the late Lum Clardy and Bonnie Hawkins Clardy and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Coffman; several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Austin; children, Ann Ledford and husband, Mike, of Cleveland, Denise Johnson and husband, Randall, of Hartselle, and Holly Watson and husband, David, of Doncaster, England; and sister, Flora McMunn of Decatur.
Funeral services will be today, July 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. at West Cleveland Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Crane officiating and Ralph Buckner Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
