Mary M. Wright, 90, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was born Feb. 27, 1927, to Henry and Martha Mothershead.
A Celebration of her Life will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Jackie Kay and Brother Craig Carlisle officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
She was a longtime member of Central Park Baptist Church and was the director of the Prime Timers at the church for 13 years. She worked for the Department of Defense for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Frank Wright; her parents; brothers, James Mothershead and Bill Mothershead; and sisters, Virginia Helms and Gladys Cline.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Wright Frawley (John), Wanda Wright Nenner (Paul) and Paula Wright Lea (Bruce); grandchildren, Jenny Faulk (Andy), Derek Long (Stacey) and Brent Lea; great-grandchildren, Becca and Logan Faulk and Nina and Demi Long; and sisters, Robbie Gooch and Louise Harmon.
Pallbearers will be Andy Faulk, Derek Long, Brent Lea, Keith Mothershead, Ken Mothershead and Wayne Wright.
