Mary Louise Richardson, 79, of Rogersville, had an address change on Saturday, April 21, 2013. She moved from this world to the Glory world, for her hope was not in this world but her hope was in Heaven. She passed so softly and tenderly, with such a peace, which we are so thankful. It had been a rough road but she had finally reached the end.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, Elkins East Chapel, burial at Barnett Cemetery. Brother Shockley, Don Holden, Sister Forsythe and Marshall Lovelace officiating.
She was born and raised in the hills of Tennessee on July 6, 1933. She had seven brothers, four of which were preachers, what a heritage. She was preceded in death by one son, Larry James Richardson, which she talked about often. He was precious, loving and kind. We all miss him very much. She leaves behind James Richardson, husband of 59 years. They were so blessed to have each other. She would tell you she not only married him but all of his family, whom she loved dearly. One daughter, Wanda Lovelace, husband, Marshall, who she loved like a son; one granddaughter, Marcie Lindley, husband, Shelby; one grandson, Jacob Lovelace, wife, Kristy; three great-grandsons, Jake and Luke Grissom and Braxton Lovelace, they were the love of her life; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Louise was such a great person that influenced people, young and old alike. With the precious words and heartfelt prayers, many will remember her for many years. She was so blessed by her Lord Jesus, she could not let it be contained. Everyone would hear of her unfailing faith and power of her God. He can not only save but heal the broken in spirit and body.
She was a lifetime member of Greenhill United Pentecostal and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She touched so many lives. Such a gracious and virtuous woman.Prov.-12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband. Prov.-31:10 For who is a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.;Prov.-31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the sixth floor and also the loving care of the Dialysis Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jamaica Mission.
