Mary Louise Lee Booker, 98, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry L. Lee and Walter G. Booker; three sons, Loyde Lee, Leon Lee and Larry Lee; one daughter, Lucille Campbell; grandson, Jamie Lee; and her brother, James Keever. She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Sandi Lee; a sister, Ann Wall; daughters-in-law, Sherry Lee and Carolyn Lee; 11 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; 29 great-great grandchildren; and five great-great-great- grandchildren; special grandsons, Russell Lee (Stephanie) and Randall Lee; and special nephew, Jesse Booker. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers and another grandson, Rev. Matt Campbell will officiate the service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 p.m. with a visitation from noon until 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Moncrief Cemetery in Gardendale.
