Mary Louise Ashley, age 68 of Estill Springs, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on July 21, 1954, in Winchester at the Franklin County Hospital, to the late George Henry and Ozell Riddle Reavis. Mary was a loving and devoted housewife, momma, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed greatly. We will remember how she loved all of us so big. She was the best at everything she did. She could sell anything to anyone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Parker Reavis. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of forty-eight years, Kenneth Ashley; one loving daughter, April Dawn (Paul) Loudermilk; two cherished grandchildren, Lela (Billy) Loudermilk and Clayton (Olivia) Loudermilk; the lights of her life three great-grandsons, Dennis Lowery, William Hill Jr., Wyatt Hill; four sisters, Pauline (Everett) Bates, Georgia Tankersley, Opha Maynard, and Barbara (Leon) Evans; three sisters-in-law, Linda Nippers, Patty Palls, and Wilma (Daniel) Tobin; one brother-in-law, Ricky(Brenda) Ashley; Several nieces and nephews who she loved, and all of her Avon customers that she loved to visit and talk to. Visitation for Mary will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 3:30pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with burial following in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
