Mary Lou Smith Howard was born January 15, 1937 in Stantonville, TN the daughter of the late Lillian and Nellie Plunk Smith. She was united in marriage to Deon Howard on August 27, 1955. Mr. Howard preceded her in death on September 5 , 2001. She was 75 and lived in Michie, Tennessee. She died September 8, 2012.
Mrs. Howard was a Homemaker and worked as a hostess at the Hagy’s Catfish Hotel. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Michie TN.
Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting and cooking for, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Howard departed this life on September 8, 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Neal Kinkead and husband Edgar of Stantonville, one brother-in-law Ronnie Howard and wife Sarah of Michie TN; one niece Deanna Comer and husband Jerry of Stantonville TN, three nephews Dwayne Johnson and wife Amy of Belmont MS; O’Neal Howard and wife Annette of MichieTN; and Craig Howard and wife Shannan of Naples FL; six great nieces, three great nephews, and two great great nieces along with special friends Pat Blanton, Max and Shirley Melton, Doris and Glen Conder, and Gary Sims.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Howard.
