Funeral Service for Mary Lee Smith, 90, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00AM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff May officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery
Mrs. Smith died on Friday, June 21, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 5, 1934 in South Bend Indiana to John Henry and Ann Irene Hook Couch.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Danville Road Church of Christ, and loved the Lord and her family very much. She was an avid bowler, and loved fishing and camping at Goose Pond Colony with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ed Smith; brother, Jackie Couch.
She is survived by son, Gary (Cindy) Smith; grandchildren, Chris Smith, and Brandon (Kacie) Smith; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Jensen Smith.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
