Ms. Mary Larry
April 27, 1920 – August 2, 2023
A beautiful blessing for 103 years. I give all the glory to my Father, my God, my Lord of lords, and King of kings, He who set me on this path and sent family and friends to lead me through this journey. I am home in Heaven, dear ones. All the pain and grief are over; every tossing period has passed. I am now at peace forever, safely at home in Heaven at last.
Mary Larry passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Fairfax Station, VA, on August 2, 2023. Mary was born to Bertha and Leonard Acklin on April 27, 1920, in Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Mattie Bea, Lela, and Roxie, and two brothers, Leonard and Claude.
Mary’s strong work ethic, zest for life, and love for helping leave an indelible imprint on her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Richardson of Fairfax Station, VA, and her son Arthur Clay of Huntsville, AL. Mary leaves many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Graveside service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Northside Cemetery (1715 Jordan Lane NW, Huntsville, AL 35816) with Reverend Theodis Acklin officiating.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
