Mary Joyce Landers 77, of Tuscumbia, Al. passed away Friday, June 27, 2014.
We are joining together to honor the life of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling and friend, Mary Joyce Landers.
Mary was born May 26, 1937 and is a native of Colbert Heights. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of Christ.
Mary was known for her kind hearted acts of generosity. She touched many lives known and unknown.
She is survived by her husband Leonard Landers. Her three children, daughter,Karen Cowan and husband Raymond Cowan, daughter Anita Dumas and husband Benny Dumas, daughter Brenda Montgomery and husband Dondi Montgomery. Grandchildren Stephanie Reeves and husband Jamie Hampton, Josh Cowan, Travis Lowery and wife Whitney Lowery, Lucinda Reeves and Brianna Lowery, great grand children Ariana Reeves and TyLeigh Hampton .
Pallbearers will be Tommy Kirchner, Edward Riner, Wallace Handley, Kenny Nunley, Josh Cowan and Jamie Hampton.
Services will be held Monday June 30, 2014.Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in our chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Ted White will be officiating.
