Mrs. Mary JoAnne Littles Morris, age 84, of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Mary was a charter member of Faith Covenant Church of God, graduate of Fenger Academy High School in Chicago, IL, she was the owner/operator of House of Flowers and House of Beauty Salon, and she was a wonderful cook and homemaker.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Paul McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Kim Jones (Melvin A.) and Mary G. Morris Tyler (Mike); sons, Kenny F. Morris and Jerry S. Morris (Nikki); grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler (Diana), Matthew Tyler (Charlene), Benjamin Tyler, Brynna Hensley (Travis), Kinley Jones, Lauren Mainolfi, Michelle Clanton (Chad), Joseph Morris (Elyse), Samuel Morris (Keyona), Jerry Thomas “JT” Morris, Faith Chyann Allison (Jake), Emma Morris, and Cory Morris; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth L. Morris; parents, Joseph and Evelyn Little; brothers, Delbert and Houston Littles; and sister, Helen Mozine Necker.
