Mary Joan Frederick Lyndon, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and child of God, passed away at home from complications of a lifelong illness on November 23, 2024. She was 55 years old.
Mary is survived by her parents, Leon and Sherwon Frederick; her sisters, Kelly Balentine (Steve) and Lynne Greer (Will); a niece and nephews she adored, uncles, aunts, friends and the Greater Huntsville Church family.
Mary especially adored her young nephews and liked bringing them treasures (cool rocks and marble runs). Mary was born May 20, 1969. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1987 and received a nutrition degree from UNA. She worked as a pharmacy technician.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th with visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home at 13455 Highway 43, Russellville, AL.
Honorary pallbearers are Mary’s friends, Marco Morales and Chris Deese, Steve Balentine, Will Greer, Wayland Balentine, Leo Greer, Calvin Greer, and Logan Poole.
