Mary Jo Schulte Brown, 81 of Florence, AL passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was a native of Colbert County and a longtime resident of Lauderdale County. She was the vice-president of Glenn Brown Trucking Company.
Visitation will be held today Monday, December 14, 2015 from 12-2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Jeremy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Leonard and Hudie Lee Schulte; granddaughter, Jennifer Clemmons Harrison; sister, Sarah Jane Minor; niece, Kathy Minor.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Glenn Thomas Brown; daughters, Wanda Lee Hughes and Karen Lynn Brown (Kenneth); sister, Brenda Ann Stafford; grandchildren, Yolanda Phillips (Josh), Markus Hughes (Carolyn) and Kyle Brown (Misty); great grandchildren, Jordan and Jacey Harrison, Emma, Cosmo and Paisley Phillips, Tiffany Hughes, Jasmine, Madison and James Howard; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Condry, David McIntyre, Kenneth Tucker, Josh Phillips, Michael Prince and Tommy Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Woods and Travis Wright.
