Mary Jo Pearce, age 77, of Boaz, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Albertville Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Whitesville Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Forrest Home Cemetery. Bro. Fred Russell and Bro. Gary Smith will officiate. The pallbearers will be Chad Russell, Wade Russell, Bradley Walls, Baylee Walls, Lance Sams, and Josh Wilemon. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the church before the service.
She is survived by her daughter; Joann Miller (Roy), grandsons; Matthew Miller (Hannah) and Mark Miller (Paden), great grandsons; Owen Miller and Nathanael “Nate” Miller, sisters; Barbara Russell (Fred), Florene Sams (Terry), and Corene Gregory (Anthony), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father; Coy Hopper, mother; Clara Vae Hopper, and sisters; Betty Ellis and Bonnie Powell.
