Mary Jewel Connor age 81 passed away December 14, 2015 in New Lenox, IL.
She was born January 9, 1934 in Chester County to the late Hallie and Lessie Essary Bradley. She married Robert Neal Connor and they lived most of their married life in Joliet and Lockport, Illinois. Mary was a homemaker, she loved working in her yard and flowers and enjoyed her family very much and also going to yard sales and auctions.
They had two children, a son, Robert Lynn Connor and wife Pat of St. Louis, MO and a daughter, Sheila Denise King and husband Tracy of Lockport, IL; two granddaughters, Kelly King and Kristy Malcom and husband Justin of Lockport, IL and four great grandchildren, Scott and Collin Guenard and Jackson and Natalie Malcom all of Lockport, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Neal Connor and a sister, Dorothy Bradley Barnes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 20, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Ken Kitchen officiating and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Enville, TN.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel beginning at 12 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 PM.
