Mary Jane Smith departed this life on Friday, July 26, 2013, at the age of 68 years, 2 months, 13 days.
She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on May 13, 1945, the daughter of the late James and Rosie Price Brown. Mary Jane was united in marriage to Franklin Allen Smith on July 14, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2002.
Mary Jane loved Sunday dinners, the holidays, and special get togethers with her family. She was a member of Pyburn Union Church since 1978. She loved the church and her church family like her own.
She is survived by her sons, Vincent Smith and wife Jackie, Michael Smith and wife Angela all of Savannah, Tennessee; stepchildren, Judy Smith of Savannah, Tennessee and Terry Smith of Missouri; grandchildren, Leslie Rossman, Joey Hebert, Daryl Smith, Jacob Smith, Shelly Smith, Madelon Smith, and Libby Smith; great grandchildren, Payton Hebert and Cailyn Rossman; brothers, Clyde Brown and James Brown both of Kentucky.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daryl Allen Smith; sisters, Nancy Katherine Boehnke and Sue Johnson; brothers, Chester, Lee, Eugene, Kenneth, and Claude Brown.
