Mary Irene McDougal was born July 15, 1942 in Hardin County, TN, the daughter of the late James Ardell Scott and Eva Pauline Barnes Scott.
Irene was united in marriage to J.D. McDougal on July 7, 1978. Mr. McDougal preceded her in death on January 2, 2004. She was a member of the Michie Church of God of Prophecy. Some of the places she worked for over the years would be; Tri County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Wurlitzer, Garan and McNairy Shirt Works.
Mrs. McDougal departed this life on December 24, 2022 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 5 Months, 10 Days.
She is survived by her siblings: Dean Sims of Michie, TN, James Scott of Sturtevant, WI, Conella Elder of Michie, TN, Bobby Scott and wife Janet of Michie, TN; special friend, Connie Miller; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McDougal was preceded in death by five brothers: Ray Scott, William Scott, Ardell Scott Jr., Joe Scott, Roger Scott.
