Mary Imogean Mitchell, 84, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, AL to L.A.”Buck” Massey and Omie Jackson Massey. She was a cafeteria worker at Red Bay School and a member of Cornerstone Church of God.
Services will be Friday, May 17, 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Rick Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Rickey Mitchell (Cindy) and their children, Mindy Ozbirn (Shannon) and her daughter, Allie Grace and Keshia Mitchell, Patty Robbins (Dale) and their son, Drent, Aaron Mitchell (Shirley) and Amos Mitchell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B.Mitchell, son, Jerry Mitchell and her brothers and sisters, Numan Massey, Flavius Haskiel Massey, Audrey Louise Cleveland, Bertha Lindsey and Troy Massey.
Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 12-2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God.
