Mary Helen Kelsoe, 86 of Gardendale, Alabama formerly of Arab, died Friday August 26, 2016 at Magnolia Ridge Nursing Home in Gardendale.
Mrs. Kelsoe was born December 7, 1929 in Cullman County to John O. Anderton and Velma Hunter Anderton. She worked in assembly at SCI until her retirement. Her husband James Madison Kelsoe preceded her in death on December 27, 2005.
She was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kelsoe is survived by her son: Madison Kelsoe, a brother: James Marvin Anderton; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Sara and Robert D. Phillips, Hilda Peigler and Joan Shauger; two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Madison Kelsoe; and one brother: W.S. “Shorty” Anderton.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday August 29, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Sam Gentry, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday August 29, 2016 prior to the service.
